I only wrote 3599 words over the holiday. (Thought I had serious word count during wrestling tournament and I did–which shows I didn’t do a lot the rest of the weekend. LOL) I’m not too busted up about it because my family and I needed the break and we had a great time. The hubby was off work, we decorated, watched movies, baked, hung out with extended family and more. I even played Plants vs. Zombies and enjoyed a gift of my favorite Cabernet from The Seventy Five Wine Company.
This is described as a serious wine for a true Cabernet hedonist. <G>
To make my goal by Friday, I need to write a little over 19k. Quite a bit for a week and it’s possible I can pull that off. Have busy “mom” stuff to do this week, too, so it should be interesting. Whether I hit 50k or not, I’d hoped to have a working first draft by the end of this week and I most certainly will have that.

EDIT: BTW, yesterday was the FIFTH ANNIVERSARY of this blog. Hard to believe isn’t it? So much has happened since then, it makes my head spin. That I still have original readers makes me feel pretty good. But man, have we all been waiting a long time for my books to get on shelves or what? <g> Thanks for hanging with me.
