Proof the Hope is Still Alive

Oh my goodness, I do have quite a few of you following this crazy journey, don’t I? Thanks for sticking around!!!!

So, after concerned emails, tweets, Facebook messages, etc, I just want to reassure you all that though I’m disappointed I didn’t get a book deal in 2010, I’m certainly not giving up. I love writing books, have many stories to tell and my dream of my books on those shelves will happen. So, no, not giving up–just disappointed at how long it can take.  Facing the end of the year hit me a little, that’s all. I still have belief.

Here’s proof!

You were worried when I threw the last “family” celebration drink away. Trust me, it had been in the fridge a long, long time.

So… today, I bought a new one. My kids smiled when they saw me putting it into the chiller. They still believe in me, too. Can’t ask for a better holiday gift. 🙂

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

Oh, for Lynn–one of my favorite Christmas songs. (Crud–you’ll have to visit Youtube to hear Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses. None of them will play here.)

The Road was slow and depressing, but at least the boy found some hope with the new family.
