First Batch of Photos– Early in the Evening

I’m waiting on pics from my sister.  I think hers were better.  But, I’m sharing some of the wonderful costumes.  I managed to take these before the big rush of guests.  After that, I was pretty busy– as you can guess.  We bought this house because it has a big kitchen and a big circular style throughout.  We love to throw parties for our friends and family.  Despite the big circle… most of them stayed in the kitchen.  You could barely squeeze through. <g>  As usual, I’m having to manipulate the photos to get them to fit.  Warps them a bit, darn it!

My father… uh… a bit later in the evening.

OMG, Amanda’s costume was so cool!

My parents’ best friends.  They’ve been in our family for 33 years, so they’re like my 2nd set of parents.  They are even in my wedding album as such.  They are more fun than should be legal and I love them like crazy.   When you offered to help him out, he said he ate already.  LOL!

I need to invite more writer friends to this thing. I’ve slowly been issuing invitations the last couple of years– to those who already love me to pieces and won’t be scared away… and to those I know can handle the meeting of my family. I’m serious. They are wild, loud, raunchy and well, absolutely lovely in their chaos.

I’m really not offended that Amanda was invited and I wasn’t, because I already had other plans… 😉

It looks like you all had a blast!

Looks like a great time was had by all. thanks for sharing.

Your costume, in particular I find ironic because of how I know you. But if this actually reflects somewhat on your personality, then I am surprised:-)

Actually, I have been a bit of a witch lately. I’m working on that.
