Halloween Party Night

I’m all dressed up and ready for our annual Halloween party!  I went traditional this year.  Had my little boy take this picture.  The costume has cool detail but you can’t see it in this shot.

We have around forty people coming.  I’ll have to take some pictures of the wild costumes.  Here are some from the house before it gets messed up. <g>

See this paper decoration?  We’ve been using it for ten years.  It’s like a tradition.  My husband pulls it out every year then tells everyone how old it is.  This year, it finally broke.  He hot glued it.  I’m pretty sure these things aren’t meant for more than one use.

We even decorate the guest bathroom.  <g>  The leaning mummy, witch and monster have a button.  Monster Mash, very loud, very obnoxious, comes on when you touch it.  You. Can’t. Turn. It. Off.  LOL!!!  We’ll know who pushes the button in the bathroom.  There is also a black wolf’s head with glowing red eyes in the basket.  My daughter is Little Dead Riding Hood, so we’re telling people we decorated with her kill.  Here’s a shot of him.

And here is the kitchen and breakfast area.  I’m sharing because I’ll take a picture after the party.  You won’t believe how different it will look.

    Oh, Rinda! You look great!

I hope your party is a fantastic, fun event. 🙂

We just got back from our community’s Halloween Spooktakular. I’m exhausted.

That winged red demon is awesome. Where did you get that from?

The house looks excellent, and you make a very regal witch.

You look great! Nice job decorating without going over the top.

We found Bob (The winged red demon) at a store called Halloween Bash. He’s my favorite decoration. We have him do something different every year. Last year he served punch.

I didn’t get all the shots loaded because we had people show up early while I was uploading them.

I didn’t get the mess in the house– I’ll have to see if my sister did. The costumes were hilarious!!! It was noisy and crowded and exhausting and worth it.

Little Dead Riding Hood… That’s hilarious. Hope you guys had a great time!

Glad you guys had a blast–you and your rowdy bunch. 😉 Sarah said everyone looked great.

Sounds like you were strung pretty tight for a such a calm-looking witch. I hear tell witches eat little children…but that’s just talk. LOL

Wish I could have been there. Maybe next year. ::sigh::

Who said I was strung tight? Throwing a party of that size is a bit of work, but I don’t think I was. I also think I know what you’re referring to, and believe me, there’s years of history with that one.

It’d be fun if you could make it. But like the other writers and even myself, you would probably sneak outside to find quiet, too.
