(This image=proof that brainstorming with me can be a challenge. Also, I have WAY too much fun at Halloween.) Yesterday was BUSY. And you thought a car-less person couldn’t be busy. Yeah, yeah, car-less isn’t a word. I watched it get towed away, then I was on email or the phone a lot. The best call was from my Harlequin editor. I received my set of revisions on FORECAST and as we were hashing back and forth through email, she said, “I’m calling you now.” LOL.
So, we brainstormed on the phone. She rocks. She pinpointed a few problem areas–ones my gut had told me might be issues. Then she listened to my weird mind going over brainstormed fixes out loud–Rachel knows, this can be a scary thing. But it was really fun to hash this out with her. This book is going to rock. If I can pull this off… LOL.
Here is the crux. Revisions are due in one week. EEK! And the third book is due May 1st. DOUBLE EEK!! And because of this brainstorm session, I now need to change a few things in FORESWORN. So, I’m about to dive in to the work.
You know, book piracy and other publishing hardships aside, I’m very lucky to have the two editors I do. One from Harlequin and one from Samhain. Speaking of my Samhain editor, I gotta get some proposals done for her, too…TRIPLE EEK!!!
