Playing catch up today. I’m trying hard to get my book done within the next two months. Preferably one month. In addition, today I have a lot to do.
An important entry to a writing contest got lost in the mail so I have to reprint and remail another copy today. Problem is, I’ve since reworked the book and added scenes so now my page count is all off. Stayed up half the night trying to fix it and still have to complete it today.
I really want to get this book into a lot more contests but I don’t like to enter them unless it’s a completed project now. Believe me, it’s better that way.
The kids have activities after school and there are a few that happen all at once so we get to choose. Fun. I have to rack two batches of wine which I think are smelling rather lovely– the hubby doesn’t feel the same way. The Pinot is processing strong… oh, it’s gonna be good.
Have too many other things on my list to share and besides they’re boring. (grin)
I did add some ultra snarky shirts to my Write Snark store at The Write Snark : CafePress.com.
You say character torture like it’s a bad thing… (This and another character torture shirt are dedicated to Christy– she knows why. (smooch) )
Did I say I wanted to hear your entire plot? (If I had a dollar for every time I’ve told someone I’m a writer and got this response…)
I write what I like. Got a problem with that? (Needs no explanation.)
Yes, I’m aware most of my snark goes into the shirt designs, but they’re fun. There are a few more designs including one that came from an idea from Sarah at Moments of Clarity . Of course, since I don’t have a great drawing software program and actually do my own stunts in Windows Paint or Corel’s Presentations, my stuff is cartoony. It’s hard to draw small detail with a mouse. But, for a cartoon, I don’t think it’s too bad. I do plan to purchase some great art software soon. I love to draw and this mouse drawing thing is fun, but I’m ready for more detail.
If only writer blocks were made of chocolate…
Of course any design can be found on different t-shirts, mugs and as above, mouse pads.
I do have some blogs coming up on writing, so stay tuned.
Sorry if I seem sad. I just learned that Dana Reeve died. Dana Reeve Remembered – iBerkshires.com – Home . My heart is with her son and family today.
