I don’t know about you, but we’ve watched nothing but news the last 24 hours. My heart is in Virginia right now.
I wasn’t sure I really planned to share these pics–loaded them after a comment about John Hughes movies. I even pulled some movies out and had a blast remembering those days. But the fashion!
We could all probably use the laugh, so I’m going ahead and sharing some old pics of me so we can make fun of that 80’s fashion. <g>
I was 5’10” and weighed 115 lbs. That’s like 35 lbs less than today! Wah. But look at that hair!
I simply can’t believe I wore this. Unfortunately, there’s proof. Stirrup pants, the big shirt and those freaky earrings! 
The numbered senior shot. Yes, that is big hair and a real jean dress. I wore a jean dress for my senior picture. Dig the expression. I gotta find the final shot, so you can enjoy that big hair in all it’s frizzed finery.
This looks like I walked off the set of Valley Girl. Oh, I loved, loved those boots. I think I cried when they finally died.
This outfit cracks me up. I felt so dressy in it and I hated the shirt because it took sooo long to iron. Then, I felt like I couldn’t move in it. From the expression on my face, I must have just finished ironing it. And don’t you ever wonder why we thought shoulder pads were cool? <g>
