I have been WAY TOO SERIOUS LATELY so I feel like plugging my little brother’s band today. Oh, and a great artist as well!!
Tomorrow, we’ll do the scene from a Pic! 🙂
I give Bobby a hard time. I’m the oldest sister so it is my sacred duty. (But secretly, I’m very proud of him. )
However… I do feel the need to say he’s still a knob. Sorry Bobby, but you know… sacred and all…
And since I also like to promote great artists, follow after the song for the artist who did their artwork! He’s fantastic!
My brother’s band is called Psymbience (www.psymbience.com) and their first CD, Is, came out just last year.
Here’s one of their songs w/lyrics. Somewhat fitting to the recent mood, don’t you think? LOL!!

Psymbiology
Yielding before cleverness of rebuttal
Is a selfless course of reaction taken
Bringing forth the common core
Dismantling ones own fortress
Sparing all individuals retribution
Free will grants the instincts for revenge
And the alternate necessity for movement within
To interpret wrongly with assumption
Consumes the merciful voice
Expecting gratification is the worst vice
Do not want for reward from submission
After all generosity roots in sacrifice
There must be a turning within us
Much like the turning of the universe
Turn as the earth and moon, turn
Circling what they need–each other

The Front of the CD. (Yes, the tree of good and evil.) All of the art you’ll see here is from the artist, Martin Stanfill. Check his other art out here Angels & Archons-The Paintings of Martin Stanfill
This is Adam and Eve. It’s the part of the CD artwork. Fantastic, isn’t it? The first time my brother handed me the CD, I couldn’t take my eyes off this image. The emotion of Eve is well, breathtaking.
And this poster is something else as well. I wish you could see it up close because the detail is fascinating.
There are more song clips on their site, but for my Mom, I’ll include part of one of her favorites. It’s a long instrumental piece. Here’s a clip from Fifteen
