It’s Still the Snark!

I changed up the color scheme and a few other things to hopefully make The Write Snark easier for some people to read. It’s still me! Today, I’m just going to share some Christmas party pictures from the Oklahoma Romance Writer’s annual gathering. This year it was at my house. Pictures by Sara Moments of Clarity. The Fabulous OKRWA Book Cake by Sara Moments of Clarity Quite a few of us! Georgina Gentry who didn’t think anyone would steal from her. She was wrong. (grin) The two on the left were the worst. And by their laughter, you can tell they enjoyed every sneaky minute in our Dirty Santa game. Betty Sanders , Amanda McCabe and Betty’s daughter, Jenn. Yeah, that’s me stealing from a very good friend of mine who had tried to work on our sympathy to keep her book. I certainly didn’t want her to feel left out. There are more rooms in the house, but we always have to squeeze into one. If I do this again, I’m going to push the furniture out a bit more– but it worked this time. The hubby and I recently remodeled this room and made it cozy– seemed the best choice. Whatever Dana Diary of an aspiring romance writer was doing in this picture must have been funny. She was probably stealing like the rest of us. All the pictures show us laughing and enjoying each other’s company. It’s good to be around people who “get” what you’re about. Being around writers always gives me that little extra push, that boost of confidence and the feeling of camaraderie in this group is priceless. They are priceless.
